In the 16 months that I've been in Ilocos Norte, I took my rubber shoes off the shelf only about five times. But starting last week, a couple of friends and I decided we'll put our legs, feet, and shoes to a little more work.
In the early mornings, right after devotionals together, we go out for a walk/jog/run - just enjoying the sun and sweat and pumped feeling. We've been coming home refreshed and ready for a hearty meal that just really motivates us for the next morning's run.
